Freezing medium is optimized for high viability, and it contains DMSO and serum.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003ch3 id=\"cryopreservation-of-immortalized-cells\"\u003eCryopreservation of Immortalized Cells\u003c\/h3\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAspirate medium.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eWash with PBS and aspirate PBS.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eAdd Trypsin\/EDTA (TE) solution to the cells and incubate at room temperature or 37 °C for 5-10min, or until the cells detach.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eExamine the cells under a microscope.
